welcomes new physicians

HAMMOND/DYER—Philip
J. Alexander, MD, board certified in Thoracic Surgery
and in Surgery, has joined Saint Margaret Mercy's department
of surgery. Dr. Alexander began his medical education at
St. John's Medical College and Hospital, Bangladore, Bangladesh.
He served his internship and completed his residency at
New York University Hospitals Center, New York, N.Y., where
he also earned a fellowship in CardioThoracic Surgery. His
office is in Blue Island.
Pankaj
Arora, MD, board certified in Internal Medicine,
has joined Saint Margaret Mercy's department of Internal
Medicine. Dr. Arora began his medical education at Gandhi
Medical College, Bhopal University, Bhobal, India. He served
his internship and completed his residency at John H. Stroger
of Cook County Hospital, Chicago, Ill. His office is in
Highland.
Alexander
S. Bozanich, MD, with board certifications in Internal
Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, Sleep Medicine and in Critical
Care, has joined Saint Margaret Mercy's department of Internal
Medicine with a subspecialty in Pulmonary Disease. Dr. Bozanich
began his medical education at University of Minnesota,
Minneapolis, Minneapolis, Minn. He served his Internship
and completed his residency at Hennepin County Medical Center,
Minneapolis, Minn. He holds a fellowship in Pulmonary Disease
from University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center, Chicago,
Ill. His office is in Munster.
Ravi
Gurujal, MD, board certified in Internal Medicine
and in Cardiovascular Disease, has joined Saint Margaret
Mercy's department of Internal Medicine. Dr. Gurujal began
his medical education at University of Illinois, Chicago,
Ill. He served his internship and completed his residency
at University of Maryland Medical System, Baltimore, Md.
He holds fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease from Barnes
Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Mo. and Northwestern Memorial
Hospital, Chicago, and a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology
from University of Colorado Hospital, Denver, Co. His office
is in Dyer.
Sandra
B. Marcotte, DO, board certified in Family Practice,
has joined Saint Margaret Mercy's department of Family Medicine.
Dr. Marcotte began her medical education at Chicago College
of Osteopathic Medicine, Downers Grove, Ill. She served
her internship and completed her residency at LaGrange Memorial
Hospital, LaGrange, Ill. Her office is in Schererville.
Stephanie
D. Marshall, DO, board certified in Internal Medicine
with a specialty in Cardiovascular Disease, has joined Saint
Margaret Mercy's department of Internal Medicine. She began
her medical education at Des Moines University Osteopathic
Medical Center, Des Moines, Iowa. She served her internship
and completed her residency at St. James Olympia Fields
Osteopathic Hospital, Olympia Fields, Ill., where she also
earned a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease. Her office
is in Dyer.
Daniel
C. Surowiec, DPM, has joined Saint Margaret Mercy's
department of Surgery/Podiatry. Dr. Surowiec began his medical
education at William Scholl College, Chicago, Ill. He completed
residencies at St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital Center, Chicago;
Detroit Riverview Hospital, Detroit, Mich.; and Whittier
Hospital Medical Center, Whittier, Calif. His office is
in Schererville.
Reina
Tarabey, MD, board certified in Anatomic &
Clinical Pathology and in Cytopathology, has joined Saint
Margaret Mercy's department of Pathology. Dr. Tarabey began
her medical education at The Lebanese University, Lebanon.
She served her internship at University of Illinois, Chicago,
Ill, and holds fellowships in Cytopathology and Surgical
Pathology from Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood,
Ill. Her office is in Chicago.
