Saint Margaret Mercy opens new clinics

EAST CHICAGO/DYER—Saint Margaret Mercy continues its growth in faith-based medicine with the opening of two new clinics in Northwest Indiana.

East Chicago Family Services, 2001 E. Columbus Drive, East Chicago, Ind., opened on Monday, May 23. Laura Lucero, MD, board eligible in Family Practice, provides family care, lab drawings, immunizations and minor surgery. Dr. Lucero and staff offer services in both English and Spanish. A blessing and dedication conducted by Saint Margaret Mercy’s Spiritual Care on Monday, June 6 celebrated the clinic opening.

Dyer Medical Center South, 14785 101st Ave, Dyer, Ind. opened on Monday, May 2, and is providing family care and pediatrics to the growing communities in south Lake County. Brian L. Fox, DO, board certified in Family Practice, and Parul G. Pathak, MD, board certified in Pediatrics, offer lab drawing, EKG, osteopathic manipulation and pediatric immunizations. Saint Margaret Mercy’s Spiritual Care celebrated the clinic opening with a blessing and dedication on Tuesday, June 7.
