Pediatric Rehab at Omni 41

Through a multi-disciplinary team, Pediatric Rehabilitation Services seeks to provide the high risk infant and developmentally disabled pediatric population with a comprehensive assessment and treatment program to enhance the child’s performance to a more functional and age-appropriate level.  The department provides Physical, Occupational, Speech and Developmental Therapy for children from birth to age 18.  Services are provided in dedicated space located within Omni 41 Health and Fitness Connection.  In addition, off-site services are available for children birth to age 3 through the State of Indiana First Steps program.  Saint Margaret Mercy is the only hospital in Lake County to offer Developmental Therapy services.  Therapy staff also includes three therapists certified in neurodevelopmental therapy (NDT).  Evening and early morning appointments are available.
